Denise is an alumna of the University of Kansas, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design (1996), and a Master of Fine Arts in Design (2014). She is NCIDQ certified, a professional member of IIDA and a LEED Accredited Professional.
Denise has over 25 years of experience in commercial interior design, space planning, project programming and facility management. In addition to her professional experience, she has taught at the University of Kansas, teaching various design and interior courses for 15 years as a lecturer and visiting assistant professor. Denise's professional experience is focused in all aspects of interior commercial and interior architectural projects, conducting a wide variety of tasks for all types and sizes of projects. Her academic area of study is in learning theory applied to interior environments and design management.
Denise has two rabbits: a Dutch Grey named Helen, and the other named Emmett.
